Jill Scotts work from 1975 to 2002 focuses on body politics and ideology with particular influence from those places she has lived

West Coast
The west coast of America, the east coast of Australia and middle Europe. She started her professional artistic career in San Francisco as a conceptual performance artist who was interested in analogue technology.

Down Under
In 1982 she returned to Australia to focus on teaching and video art and to further her knowledge in digital technology and mythology.

Europe
In 1992 she moved to Germany to teach and build new interactive art installations about ideology, ethnology and gender and in 2002 to Switzerland. This Archive presents only a sample of some of these works. Please see CV for other works.
